PLACENTIA CHAMBER IS “BACK ON DECK” FOR ANNUAL SHOWCASE
PLACENTIA BAY INDUSTRIAL SHOWCASE SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 2021
The Placentia Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the annual Placentia Bay Industrial Showcase (PBIS 2021) on October 26 and 27, 2021 in Placentia.
PBIS 2021, an in-person event, will bring together key players in the Placentia Bay Region to explore the opportunities available for business. The event will highlight the diverse range of industries active in our region, including oil and gas, transportation, aquaculture, mineral processing, and tourism.
The theme this year, ‘Back on Deck, PBIS 2021’, is an acknowledgement of the need to move forward through a challenging economic environment, creating value and identifying areas for development and progress following the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Placentia Chamber of Commerce President, Wayne Power, said “PBIS 2021 will provide important networking opportunities to assist our region in securing positive experiences with the various projects taking place. Through the conference we hope to help our region get “Back on Deck” and to focus on areas for growth and recovery.”
PBIS Committee Chairperson, Claudette Pittman, said “we are creating an exciting agenda that will include exclusive project updates, industry information, keynote speeches, and networking advantages.”
