Coffey’s Transport

Back in 2010, I (Adam) had an idea on building a company in honour of my dad Leo Coffey. He loved to drive dump trucks and transport trucks.

My work involves hauling materials on flat deck trailers and semi dump trailers to transporting all kinds of materials.

My company can supply end dump trailer, flat deck trailer, sea can chassis and float trailer to move your material anywhere in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Marine Atlantic

Marine Atlantic is a Crown Corporation, and is committed to providing a safe, environmentally responsible ferry service between the Island of Newfoundland and the Province of Nova Scotia in a reliable, courteous and cost-effective manner. Our head office is in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.

We service two routes. The first is a year-round, 96 nautical mile daily ferry service between Port aux Basques, Newfoundland and Labrador and North Sydney, Nova Scotia. The second, offered from mid-June until late September, is a 280 nautical mile ferry service between Argentia, Newfoundland and Labrador and North Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Mega Marine INC

Operating out of Argentia Harbor since 1988, Mega Marine INC. helps to serve the Newfoundland Marine Industry, catering to both commercial and recreational clients.

Mega Marine INC Help provide experienced highly trained and skilled captains and crew to run three well maintained vessels. A comprehensive maintenance program allows us to keep the vessels in like new condition. Our safety program and developed safe practices, has allowed us to operate with zero accidents, zero down time and zero negative impact on our environment, for over thirty years.

With an experienced machinist, millwright mechanic, and marine engineer on staff, we will gladly fabricate (in our own machine shop) or add equipment to the vessels to suit the client’s needs when possible. Added equipment is engineer designed and tested by a certified mechanical engineering firm per OHS requirements. Lifting gear is load tested and rated with the established safe working load. Standards set by transport Canada and workplace NL is strictly adhered to.
